My no. 1 place to live at the moment… Manhattan Beach, CA

After visiting California last month, I explored new sights, primarily south Los Angeles area of Manhattan Beach. It was better than I remembered. When I used to be a resident in SF, I’d make a few trips south for better weather and beaches. I’d say in all my experiences of boardwalks and bike path views, the one at Manhattan Beach is the best so far in the US – our version of Italy. The scenery is breathtaking and the kind-laid-back-mentality of the locals you pass by sweeten the deal. Myrtle Beach, SC seabord comes close in 2nd place (because of its lack of mountains). And maybe there’s something to the Pacific Ocean I guess… the Atalantic is lovely but the Pacific is: (enter your favorite adjective here.)
Till I can make this dream a reality, visits will have to do. There’s only so long before I can be without their special pinot noir… savory taste of brussel sprouts, chicken meatballs with lemon zest curd complimented perfectly with a quinoa and kale salad – only at Manhattan Beach Post: http://eatmbpost.com/
